As I embark on my journey to represent the good people of the newly drawn 68th Assembly District in the Wisconsin State Assembly, my core commitment is to restore unconditional adherence to our Constitution in every aspect of governance. Our founding document is not merely a set of recommendations, but the bedrock of our liberties, which seems to be continually overlooked by the current state leadership under Governor Tony Evers and even some within the Republican establishment. My pledge is to challenge any overreach that undermines our constitutional rights, particularly focusing on the First and Second Amendments which are under constant threat from restrictive laws that erode our freedoms of speech and right to bear arms.
Furthermore, I firmly believe that both our state and federal governments have strayed far from the principles of transparency and accountability, essential for the trust required between the people and their representatives. Recent oversteps in handling mandates and fiscal irresponsibility have only deepened this mistrust. If elected, I will work tirelessly to address these grievances by advocating for a significant overhaul of our electoral processes and education system to ensure they serve the public's interest, not the whims of entrenched politicians. It’s time for the citizens of Wisconsin to regain the voice they deserve in Madison, and I am committed to being that unwavering voice.
