Freedom of religion and speech are the cornerstones of our Republic and our American identity. Our greatness's foundation is our ability to freely express and practice religion without government interference.

The very notion that we could compromise these rights—strikes at the heart of our constitutional protections.

Any measure, such as Bill 6090, that could potentially curtail these rights — no matter how well intentioned — such as "protection of the weak," or limiting "hate speech" is ultimately a duplicitous guise to usher in censorship and religious oppression.

Our liberties were hard-earned, and must be zealously guarded. As your representative and your voice in the legislature, I am steadfast in my commitment to vigorously opposing any such legislation.
